MiM Strikes Again

Minds in the Making, the Counter-Strike clan I am in, had another victory last night. We won 19-5. Pretty good. So far we’re 2-0, and we have high hopes of doing well this season and moving up from the Open league to Intermediate. Way fun.

Even though it is cool to win, I don’t think winning is the coolest part. My favorite moments are when we really work together as a team. Sometimes we just act at the right times, back eachother up, and it all works together. We had some of those moments last night. That’s the coolest. That’s the kind of thing that makes it worth playing. That and the tons of laughs and good times with the guys in the team. It’s definitely lots of fun, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.

(un)Labor Day

Labor Day, the day when nobody works. I love the irony. Anyway…

I was planning on washing clothes today, but somehow I just never got around to it. Seems like that happens a lot with clothes washing. It’s not that I don’t like having clean clothes, it just seems like an awful lot of work just so I don’t reek like a dying rat. I mean, is the investment really worth the return? Not today, it wasn’t.
